There is definitely a pull on my life right now. About a year ago I was analyzing a data set, and it changed how I think about economics entirely. Ever since, I have been developing my own economic theory, and the pull is so strong that I cannot not work on it. I have to keep moving forward, making the case stronger. There is a real fear that I am wrong, but every time I go back to the data, things keep confirming that what I am working on has genuine merit. If it holds, it changes how we think about the economy and how it actually functions for the average person.
Wow sounds Epic Kyle - and sounds like something the world needs! I can totally relate to that fear though - the what if I’m wrong about this? I have it hit me every few weeks. I have to keep reminding myself this is a marathon not a race and the tortoise beats the hare. I hold on to each small win as a proof point.
